Why is there no monthly fee?
Because you're paying us to build software, not to rent it. A Shopify or Wix subscription is a recurring license to use someone else's platform. We build a site that belongs to you outright, hosted on infrastructure you control. There's nothing to subscribe to.
What does "you own the code" actually mean?
You get the full Git repository, the design files, the deployment configuration, and the domain. If you walked away tomorrow, you could host the same site anywhere, hire any developer, and keep operating. No permission required.
Why no plugins?
Plugins are a tax. They duplicate functionality, conflict with each other, slow down your store, renew on their own schedules, and break when their authors abandon them. We build the features you need directly into your codebase, where they're fast and accountable to one team. Ours.
